Patel is the mixologist that consults Tampa’s hottest restaurants and bars in the direction of their cocktail menus. However, his story starts way before he conquered Tampa. Patel began his lifelong love affair with bar culture in London circa 1993/94 at the Atlantic Bar & Grill. Shortly after he set up shop as a Bar Consultant to help develop bar programs for hangouts in London, before packing up his shaker tins to assist on projects in the Bahamas, Sydney Australia, & Washington DC, and before moving back to London to work on Virgin Atlantic Airways award-winning Flagship Clubhouse. A great bar is a way of life.” -Esquire, 1954 “Nice quote taken from the cocktail menu of one of London’s once most Iconic bars The Player., said Patel Patel moved to Sunny Tampa, FL and co-founded Ciro’s Speakeasy in 2010. During his time there, the team and program won many awards both locally and in the nation cocktail community. Since moving on from Ciro's, he opened a one-stop-shop consultancy which has helped with many bars & restaurant openings, a whiskey club, Liquor Brand Mixology events, music festivals for Tito's Vodka and most recently working on projects in Denver CO. Did we mention Patel is also a National WSWA Mixology winner to boot! “Whilst (means while) moving around every few months consulting has been meaningful and fun! This is the right project, timing, and a unique opportunity to test me by getting back behind the stick' once more.” said Patel. The right project he is referring to is The Collection. “The Collection gives me the chance to develop a long-term view of hospitality and service, support bartenders to become the next generation of owners in addition to collaborating with esteemed peers that add value to the guest experience!” said Patel.
