SHOCK BRACKET MOUNTING Have you ever welded your shock brackets in place then struggled with getting the shock back in place because the brackets warped together? Robert from Berts 4x4 & More is going to explain how to prevent that. Not every DIY builder or shop has the access to the correct size spacers or a lathe to make them on. But you can weld your brackets without them sucking together with just a piece off all thread and some nuts. Step 1: The first thing you want to do is make sure you have clean material to weld your brackets to. Clean material is key to good penetration. Step 2: Bolt your brackets to your hiem joint/shock with your misalignment spacers in place. Position your shock into your desired mounting location.
