Step 3: Tack your brackets into place and remove the shock or hiem from the brackets. Step 4: Take your piece of all thread, 2 nuts and washers and spread your brackets. You want to have both nuts between the brackets with washers on the outer sides and thread them away from each other to contact the insides of the brackets. I’ll usually put between 1/4-1/2 of a turn preload on the brackets. Step 5: Weld your brackets. You always want to weld the insides of the brackets first then the outside and do a full wrap around the brackets. Step 6: Remove your all thread and hardware and replace your shock after the brackets have cooled! TECH
