27 Many books and pamphlets circulate among the young people and on the internet with formulas of consecration to the Prince of Darkness. The powers that Spiritists call “gifts” can be tied to magic, clairvoyance, visions and apparitions, automatic writing and bilocation. Fly from such things and call upon the Virgin Mary for help. Whoever turns to witchcraft, occultism, fortune-tellers and wizardry, commits very serious sins of superstition which are contrary to the Faith. Only the mercy of God can deliver souls from Purgatory and sin. To take part in something that tries to force the Hand of God to grant us what might not even be good for our souls, is not true piety. Divination, magic and witchcraft are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion. The practice of Séances and spreading of a culture favoring magic have grown in correspondence with the general decline of the Faith. A demon is not driven out by another demon, but only with prayer. Spiritism has evolved into a universal religion, guided by spirits of the dead and is expected to overcome traditional religions and draw all humanity into a new era of Brotherhood. Culturally and politically, it resembles Freemasonry. The spirit is evoked through a medium or the Ouija board, tables move and voices are heard. All this is completely contrary to Christian doctrine. There are no good spirits other than angels and no bad spirits other than demons. The New Age Spiritism is winning over many disoriented and lost souls today. Satanic rock music uses messages taken from Black Masses and occultism. They are lyrics that are actually hymns to the Prince of Darkness which poison the soul and the spirit, and ruin lives. Horror films disturb souls. Tattoos and piercing disfigure God’s creation and defile the very temple of the Holy Ghost. The devil’s mission in the world is to seduce souls, to lead each man and woman on the wayward paths of sin; and the principal path of his tragic mission is the path of temptation. We must guard our hearts and our external senses from indecent spectacles: what is seen, heard and read. A good conscience is one that is conformed to the Will of God and His teachings, which have been given to us for our happiness and salvation, and are summarized in the highest degree in the Ten Commandments. Everything that seduces and enslaves souls leads to their death, which is Satan’s objective. Temptation is conquered by vigilance, avoiding sin and praying because, without the help of God, we are not capable of conquering the seduction of sin. “In the end, My Immaculate Heart will Triumph!” M ary is the Mediatrix of all graces. Despite rampant sin and mankind’s abandonment of God, the tribulations of the Church will have an end. Without Mary, little is accomplished in the struggle against Satan. It is always God Who liberates one from his influence, and God’s ear is especially attuned to the mediation of Mary, the Mother of His Son. Mary is FULL OF GRACE. She is the Mediatrix of God’s every grace for all men, particularly for those who suffer much, including those who suffer from spiritual evils. The enmity between Mary and Satan,
