28 proclaimed solemnly by God in the Book of Genesis (Gen. 1:3—15) and manifest in our struggle with the dragon, makes her the number one enemy of the demon. She will be the one to crush his head at the end of time!!! The help of the Virgin, however, goes beyond the exceptional situations of the demoniacs. In man’s every struggle against Satan and sin, it is always Mary who represents the extraordinary and irreplaceable. The demon is terrified of Mary. Pray the Rosary. It is an extremely powerful arm against the devil and will give us strong protection and liberation from evil. Sister Lucia revealed that God had conferred a power so great on the Rosary that there is no evil: personal, family or social that cannot be defeated by praying the Rosary with faith. Peace is what Our Lady promised us at Fatima if her wishes were granted: The Peace which gives serenity of heart and soul, a life of union with God, acceptance of our crosses and gratitude for the many blessings bestowed upon us each day. It is important to pray the Rosary together as a family in order to invoke peace in our homes, in our parochial communities, in workplaces, in nations and in the world. Wars and division of souls are the unequivocal signs of the presence of the devil, which in Greek means divider! Mary’s maternal help will always protect us from the danger of discouragement and give us the knowledge to know God’s Will and the strength to do it. Mary will help us make of every occasion in our daily lives an act of love and reparation to God. Mary leads us to Jesus, and forms us into Him just as the Holy Spirit formed Jesus in Mary. St. Michael the Archangel is the most powerful Angel in our struggle against demons. Pray to St. Michael. Images, statues and an oratory niche in the home are a visible testimony the devil sees and so does our family. St. Benedict medals, Miraculous Medals, Crucifixes, Scapulars, holy water, blessed salt and blessed oil are powerful tools against Satan. In the dim morning light, let us make our acts of Faith, Hope and Love that we may share in God’s own Love for Himself. We love God with the Love that God has given us, through the Immaculate Heart of His Mother. All that is self-seeking must be rejected and our hearts must be opened to the embrace of the all-good and alllovable God! FAITH gives LIGHT! HOPE gives COURAGE! LOVE gives FIRE! We share in the Light, Courage and Love of Christ, Our King. If we arm ourselves for this battle, Satan will be defeated, and sin and temptation will be no more!
