CREATING YOUR BLOCKS M N Repeat the folded fabric technique demonstrated in Steps H through M to finish your base. Then continue on with any decorative embroidery steps until the block is completed. O P This is an example of a completed block. Continue by repeating Steps A through P with different designs until all of the blocks are finished. You will need 8 squares and 2 triangles to complete the bag. Trim away any excess fabric within the inside of the block. Once you remove the block from the hoop, use a rotary cutter and a ruler to trim the block, leaving a 1/2” seam allowance around the outside. The next set of instructions will show you how to assemble your patchwork quilt blocks into this bag! PATCHWORK QUILT BAG | Project | 131
