STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS G H Trim the excess fabric as close to the tack down stitches as possible. I J Place organza over the top of the placement stitches. Use tape to hold the organza in place. K L Run any remaining appliqué and embroidery steps until we reach the outside borders of our design. Run the placement stitch for the first two appliqué borders. The next step will tack your appliqué in place. Continue running any embroidery and appliqué steps until you get to the placement stitch for your organza. Run the tack down stitch for your organza. Next, carefully trim away the excess material. Since organza is fragile material, we often leave ¹/₈” extra material outside of the tack down stitch, to later compensate for any pulling that the embroidery may cause.
