STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS M N Run the tack down stitch for your first 2 borders. O P Run the remaining borders and any additional appliqué and embroidery steps of your design until the design is complete. Lay fabric over top of the placement stitches. Since these will serve as your borders, be sure to use a piece of fabric large enough to compensate for your seam allowance as well. Trim as close to the tack down stitch as possible; but, be sure to leave at least ¹/₂” of fabric in your seam allowance. Be careful when you trim the border fabric away that you don’t get the scissors caught in the organza.
