STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS STEP J Now, place your hoop back in the machine and run the next machine step. This step will tack the back fabric onto your design. There will be a gap at the bottom of the design that will allow you to turn your design inside out. STEP K Take your design out of the hoop and use a pair of scissors to trim around your design leaving 1/8". Where the gap is, leave 1/2" of fabric for seam allowance. Be sure to not cut any of the stitches while you're trimming your design. TIP STEP L Use the opening at the bottom of the design to turn it inside out.
