POT HOLDER Recipe A. B. 147 D. Start by laying your back fabric right-side down. Place your insul-bright on top. Lastly place your finished quilt block on top right-side up as shown above. C. Baste stitch these layers together. Use a walking foot to help keep the fabric layers together. E. Pin along one edge at a time, then stitch using a ½" seam allowance. Stop stitching ½" from the corner and backstitch. Remove the pot holder from your machine. Once the layers are in place, pin them so that they hold while you stitch them together. Starting on the top in the middle of the pot holder, place the binding along the edge. Make sure that the raw edge of the binding is aligned with the raw edge of the block. F. Fold the binding back on itself at a 45 degree angle, perpendicular to the seam you just stitched.
