CASSEROLE GRABBER Recipe M. N. 154 P. Your doodle blocks with binding should look like this. You now have your pocket tops for your casserole grabber. Set theses aside as we will use them starting in step Q. O. Place one plain block right-side down on folded fabric block, matching up the tack down stitches. Pin in place and stitch together with a 1/2" seam allowance. Repeat for left plain block. Q. Lay the finished pocket top right-side up on top of the back piece, matching up edges and tacking stitches. Pin these layers together. The next step is to sew your plain blocks to the folded fabric block. This creates the back piece. Press the seams open. R. Using a walking foot, baste stitch the layers together. Repeat on the left side.
