CASSEROLE GRABBER Recipe S. T. 155 V. Once both pocket pieces are sewn to the back piece, you will attach Insul-bright and the lining. Place your lining fabric rightside down, then a layer of insul-bright. Place your grabber on top right-sides up as shown. Baste all three layers together. U. Cut a strip of bias binding 21/4" wide by 70" long. Starting along the bottom align the binding edge to the casserole grabber edge. Fold the top edge of the binding down on a 45 degree angle as shown. Pin along edge all the way around. W. Overlap your binding 2" past your starting point. Trim any excess binding. Trim excess lining and insul-bright using your rotary cutter and ruler to a 1/2" seam allowance. The final step is to bind the outside edge. Once you come to the curve make sure edges stay aligned. You may need to clip the binding to insure that this happens. Then stitch using a 1/2" seam allowance. X. Fold and press the binding.
