SUN CATCHERS Ingredients We recently created a collection called Sun Catchers that uses our stained glass embroidery technique with large intricate designs that look beautiful hanging in your windows. We took the design technique from Sun Catchers and applied it to our Stitchin’ in the Kitchen Sun Catchers to coordinate with the rest of the designs in this curriculum. They are very easy to create - you simply sandwich clear vinyl between two layers of organza! The designs catch light just the way stained glass does, People will not believe that they are created with thread. The style of art we used for Stitchin’ in the Kitchen uses color splashes on the kitchen elements with black outlines and highlights, as well as a neutral background. So, we used cream organza for all the background appliqué and multiple layers of colored organza for the kitchen elements appliqué. Once the designs are finished stitching, you simply need to add a suction cup with a hook to the designs and hang them in your window. You will love these designs! 207 Steve Wilson Anita Goodesign, Inc ☐☐ 8" x 8" White organza ☐☐ 8" x 8" Clear vinyl ☐☐ 8" x 8" Cream organza ☐☐ Different colored organza for appliqué ☐☐ Matching black bobbin ☐☐ Wash-away stabilizer ☐☐ Black embroidery thread
