STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS A B Run the first machine step. This is the squaring stitch and also the placement stitches for your piece of batting. Note: The entire design will be inside of these squaring stitches. C D Run the next machine step which will tack the batting into place. E F The next machine step will be the placement stitch for your first piece of landscape appliqué fabric. To start, hoop a piece of no-show mesh stabilizer to fit hoop. Lay the batting over the placement stitches covering all sides. Using appliqué scissors, trim away the excess batting as close to the tack down stitches as possible.
