NOTES AVOIDING PROBLEMS This is another example of a piece of artwork that was over-designed. The daisies have multiple layers of shading and color blends. This would be a great technique and easily achieved if the design was large. However, the finished design is the size that you see up top. The daisies had to be simplified so they would stitch better. You have to remember, no one ever has to see what the artwork looked like before it was digitized. It is our job to interpret the artwork so that it will stitch well. A good digitizer will be able to adapt the artwork on the fly. This is another reason why it is important to have a plan for the artwork before you ever begin digitizing.
