Think we’re all living a midsummer night’s dream on Tybee this year. I know I am. Happy August! Michelle from Philly was with her sister Natalie at the Wind Rose Café. This was her first outing with Natalie on Tybee as a 21 year old! How’d she feel the next day??? Jennifer and Wick! Jennifer took her first trip to Daufuskie, got to meet Wick and Jake, and got a personalized autographed copy of Wick and Jake’s Daufuskie Island! Had a lovely dinner, of course, at Sundae Café catching up with very important visitors. Here are two of them pictured with our waitress Lydia, Cooper and Skylar. And here’s another one of them, one of my mom’s best childhood friends, Dotti. We went out for a nightcap after dinner. Holland has some great tricks up his sleeve. Look at that laugh! Chloe loves working at Sugar Magnolia. They’re conveniently located right across from Huc A Poos in Tybee Oaks. What’s better than ice cream, candy and video games after pizza at the poo?! And they’re open till 9 p.m.! I knew I could count on Katherine to goof around with me, even in a hurry, to point out that Chu’s has fresh, green, hot boiled peanuts. They’re delicious. I can’t imagine making them in this heat! So glad that Cam, Kip and Allegra called Tybee Golf Carts. They needed a way to get around the island and that’s the way they like to do it. We had fun in it too!! Met Catherine and Mark with Paradise Snow Cone n Lemonade (next to Sunrise). Their claim to fame is their hand crafted, fresh squeezed lemonade. I tried one, they’re so tasty! They have a stand on the pier too, and they do festivals! Here are some happy customers of Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals, Diane, Bob, Robert, Ken and Steven. They finally, after eight years, came for five days during the 4th of July from the East side of Detroit to see cousin, Fidgit. This is the closest I’ve been to Cockspur Lighthouse in a while, thanks to Captain Tucker Tybee Airboats!! This IS Captain Tucker, Kris and deckhand, Brian. They impressed me with a fun, adventurous and informative tour on the Tybee waters By Hilary Junewicz
