STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS S T Place your design just inside of the placement stitches. Use spray adhesive to keep the design in place. Note: When using spray adhesive, be sure to remove the hoop from your machine so that you don’t get any glue in your machine. U V Run any remaining embroidery steps until your design is complete. Run the placement stitch for your reverse trapunto appliqué. This is where we will place our previously embroidered reverse trapunto appliqué design. For these designs we use a unique tacking stitch technique. The reverse trapunto appliqué will be tacked down by a traditional tacking stitch that outlines the entire appliqué and then goes directly into some of the decorative stitches that will further tack your design in place.
