1949 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY CONVERTIBLE
This beauty was one of the Silver Anniversary models celebrating Chrysler’s 25 years in the automotive business and it was truly the “Star” of the show. With its
beautiful wood framing, real leather trimmed interior and being resplendent in its use of chrome it was absolutely the “King of the Road”. Only 993 Town & Country
Convertibles were produced in 1949 and it was the first year for the new Presto-Matic Fluid Drive transmission. Only a small number of these have survived and few,
if any, in this exceptional condition. Please refer to www.raleighclassic.com for vehicle specific historical and maintenance details.
