Not a single eclipse- related safety incident was reported across the company that afternoon. Visible across nearly all Martin Marietta operations, the eclipse was best viewed in 11 states from Oregon in the northwest to Georgia in the southeast. While it did little to interrupt the workday, many Martin employees paused for at least a few moments to take in the view, including (above from left) Talent Acquisition Manager Andrea Wun, Senior Vice President of Human Resources Don McCunniff, Director of Compensation and HRIS Michele Fitzsimons and Corporate Recruiter Cathleen McCarthy, who all enjoyed a safe gaze from the parking lot of corporate headquarters in Raleigh.
