Unmarried Alberta shares an apartment with her mother Weedy who fi nds solace for her
troubles in religion. Their constant visitor is the sporty and down on his gambling luck, Uncle
Do, who is the despair of his strait-laced sister, Weedy. Wandering street singer, Blind Jordan
searches for a woman he once knew but meets Alberta, Weedy’s daughter! When the two
lock eyes, emotional and sexual frustration ensues which causes a rift between mother and

swept across the world. In commemoration of his life’s
work, TBAAL partners with 50 multi-denominations, pastors and ministers 50 years later to reflfl ect
