LATINA Style, Inc. celebrated the last stop of the 2017 Annual
LATINA Style Business Series Tour in San Diego, CA, on Friday,
November 17th at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar hotel. Marking its 129th
stop, the award-winning program for Latina entrepreneurs kicked-off
with a networking breakfast and opening remarks from title sponsor
Lory Burgos, Sr. Consultant, Enterprise Diverse Marketing, Nationwide,
and ANSO member Edgar Guerrero, former Navy Pilot and Veteran.
Over 200 Latinas and professionals attended
the series chaired by Linda Caballero Sotelo.
Caballero Sotelo is the Executive Director of
New Americans Museum (NAM), a visual
arts and oral histories institution whose
mission is to celebrate and educate about
the contributions of all immigrants post
WWII into the American narrative.
The first workshop, Accessing Capital:
Building Strong Businesses was moderated

Sustainable Solutions, Inc. Presenters shared
their personal and professional marketing
strategies they have implemented within
their respective professions to achieve maximum
success. “If you are not wiggling, you are not
going to places,” states Lorenzo as she elaborates
on the importance of mentorship, self-esteem,
confidence and shared simple, yet successful
social media campaigns.
