Colonial Williamsburg
Colonial Williamsburg
This restoration (which has set a
standard of excellence unmatched
worldwide) re-creates the vitality and
importance of the 18th Century Colonial
Williamsburg. In the many houses
and craft shops open to the public,
interpreters and craftspersons in period
costume give your group a fascinating
glimpse into the lives and livelihoods of
the Virginian Colonists. The gardens,
architecture, furnishings and works of art
accurately reflect the 18th Century, when
Williamsburg was the capital of England’s
largest and richest colony in the New
World. Trace the footsteps of Thomas
Jefferson, Patrick Henry and other leaders
who shaped the destiny of our nation.
Public Performances are now available in
Colonial Williamsburg!
