Ways to Use Essential Oils Supports, Improves or Stimulates
Essential oils can be very helpful in some cases, supportive in others, and
have little to no effect in certain situations. They are not intended to treat
or cure serious medical conditions. There is no substitute for a consultation
with a competent physician for any matters regarding your health.
DIFFUSION
Add 3-5 drops of essential oil per 100
mL of water to a PURELY™ diffuser.
Oils are dispersed in a micro-fine vapor,
allowing them to remain suspended in
the air for extended periods of time.
TOPICAL
Dilute 1-2 drops of essential oil with a
PURELY™ carrier oil before application.
Please see the dilution table on page
33 for more dilution information.
Be sure to test for sensitivity.
STEAM
Add 2-3 drops of essential oil
to a steaming cup of water
and inhale to introduce warm,
moist air into the lungs.
BATH
Add 5-10 drops of essential oil to
one ounce carrier oil. Add this blend
to your running bath water and mix
well before getting into the tub.
INGESTION
When using as a supplement, add one
drop per 4 oz. of liquid. Use no more
than three times per day. Depending on
what you are treating, topical application
or inhalation may be more effective.
