KARATE FOR SELF-DEFENSE (18+ yrs)
Karate as self-defense trains your physical motor skills. All techniques
are taught by Hilmar Fuchs in a fun, safe atmosphere.
Participants do not need to be well coordinated or in top physical
condition. Martial Arts experience required.

YOGA ESSENTIALS (18+ yrs)
Start with some basic energy balancing techniques; add in
breathwork and a combination of standing and floor poses to
work on increasing strength, flexibility, and balance. Class ends
with meditation to quiet the mind and allows the class to cover
yoga essentials that will help to improve your health and sense
of well-being. Please bring a yoga mat, block, strap, towel, and
water. No class 9/3, 10/8, November, 12/24 & 12/31.

PILATES (18+ yrs)
This 30-minute class focuses on abdominals, however Pilates can
improve your posture, back health, flexibility, and overall strength.
The movements will enhance physical and mental conditioning;
this is great way to get in touch with your inner strength. Bring a
yoga mat, drinking water and a towel.

This is a great program for all levels! A dynamic & vigorous style
of Yoga that synchronizes breath and movement, endures longer

Cape Coral Canals are home to many species of fish, both
native and exotic. Come learn about what you can catch in the
canals, discuss responsible angling practices, which parks are
good for fishing and launching your boat.

The Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife present “Living with Owls in
Cape Coral”, an entertaining photographic presentation about
the official city bird, the Burrowing Owl. Learn why these interesting
little creatures love Cape Coral and are perfectly happy
living in harmony near people. This program is free and open to
the public, but an RSVP would be nice and donations to Cape
Coral Friends of Wildlife are welcome.

Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife Meetings
For anyone interested in learning more
about burrowing owls or learning to help
take care of the burrows around the city.
No experience necessary – you can learn
it here! These meetings are open to the
public and always have an interesting
guest speaker in addition to the meetings.
Meeting are held at Rotary Park from 7:00-9:00pm.
