How The System Works
Processed cattle with bolus issued
life-time unique Radio Frequency
Identification Number (RFID) is
monitored and tracked with the herdsman
on the grazing route within Zycom
Infrastructure Network (ZIN) and beyond.
Grazing routes are mapped and configured
into Zycom Infrastructure Network and
Control Station, to create geographical
fence (Geo-fence), using Global Positioning
System (GPS), to define positions and
track movement of herdsman and cattle
anywhere.
The tracking system is integrated into the
central database to extract cattle unique
identification number for tracking purposes.
Law enforcement agents, cattle and farm
owners are provided real-time access to the
control station via an App in a mobile device,
to track position and movement of cattle
and herdsman on grazing route at any time.
If a cattle or group of cattle are not within
defined range radius for a period of time, or
are removed outside the range, cattle owner,
herdsman and the control station are alerted
immediately with the following information::
◆ The ID or IDs of missing cattle
◆ The number of missing cattle from the
herd
◆ Location of the herdsman and herd
