Education (ESE) Department to ensure that
schools provide opportunities and programs that
encourage students to develop academic and
social skills commensurate with their abilities.
The commitment of the ESE Department is
to assist all school personnel in the appropriate
identification, placement, and programming for
exceptional students. We recognize that services
to families are essential to student success. To

& Children serves young children
(0 - 36 months of age) and provides
information and support to help parents
access necessary services for their
children and family such as:

who reside in Seminole County, who
have not yet entered kindergarten,
and who are suspected of potential
developmental delays or disabilities.

For grades K-12, any Seminole
County parent who suspects their child
has a disability may request an evaluation
