Devil’s Millhopper is a National Natural
Landmark where a 120-foot deep bowlshaped
sinkhole leads to a miniature

The Hawthorne Historical Museum is located
in a restored 1907 African-American Church,
and holds artifacts and paintings from the
town of Hawthorne’s past– a railroad town
that grew around the 1879 junction of the
Florida Southern and Peninsula lines.

Natural History Museum, where you can
witness a South Florida Calusa Indian

This winery is located southeast of Gainesville.
For decades, Alachua County has been the
heart of Florida blueberry production and
remains so today, producing 25% of the entire
state’s production of this flavorful fruit. These
wines are made from 100% blueberries with
no grape juice or flavorings used, and
are very low in sulfites.
