A4858-3010GT 108 RDM
We are excited to bring this new line of genetics
into our portfolio. A4858 will be high yielding with
excellent test weight, so we recommend it for well
managed ground. Due to its semi ex ear, optimum
planting should be in the 26-38,000 range. It will
have good stay-green and has very good tolerance
to Grey Leaf Spot.

A5658-3000GT
A5658 is a medium sized plant with medium ear
placement. It has great ear ex, so plant at 22-
26,000 plants per acre on tougher ground. On
good dirt or under irrigation, don’t hesitate to push
it to the 30-34,000 range. It has excelled in NC,
TN, IA and IL, topping many of the state trials and
independent tests (i.e. the F.I.R.S.T. trials). Not
recommended for corn behind corn north of the
Mason Dixon Line.

“I have used A5658 for several years and it is a
hybrid that I can put on my toughest ground.
This year under stress, it was 25 to 30 bushels
better than competitor hybrids on similar soil types.
This is the best ex ear corn on the market today.”
“We really like the versatility of the A5658. It is
a corn we can plant on a variety of soil types and
it always does a good job. This year under stress,
the A5658 averaged 180 bushels an acre and we
are well pleased.”
“I have used the A5658
for three years now and
it has been a great corn.
I like that I can get it in
a conventional option
and this corn has
tremendous ex
capability. It’s not
uncommon to see
20 kernel row ears.”
