Governmental Affairs
ORRA President-elect Jeffrey M. Fagan and CEO Cliff Long (fifth
and sixth from left in the photo below) were on hand as ORRA was
recognized by the Orange County School Board in September for
its support of the One Mill Referendum. This ORRA-supported issue
passed in August with 84 percent voter approval.
ORRA supported
candidate Val Demings,
who ran unopposed for
another term as U.S.
Representative for
District 10, stopped by
the association’s
executive leadership
meeting in September.
She accepted an RPAC
campaign contribution and discussed her real estate related efforts
in D.C.
Community Relations
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida’s “Back To School Bash” got
a boost from the ORRA Community Relations Committee! ORRA volunteers
prepared and served refreshments while the kids (and the
volunteers; we have pictures) enjoyed a DJ and dancing in the gym.
