A patron recently shared with me that he
and his wife purchased individual tickets to
specific matinee shows. He said that they
avoided the performances that weren’t familiar
to them. However, they would later find out that
they missed a fabulous show, so they became
subscribers. “Now we see all the matinees and
have discovered some really great entertainers
like Bravo Amici.”
That’s just one of the many advantages of subscribing. The
number one reason patrons subscribe is the substantial savings.
Matinee subscription tickets for the best seats in the house are less
than $20 per show when you subscribe. Bronze subscription tickets
are only $14 per show.
Another subscriber loves the 15% discount he gets when he
buys additional tickets for non-matinee performances. “When our
family visited, I bought tickets to the holiday show and, because
I’m a subscriber, I saved over $30 with my subscriber discount,” he
added.
Subscribers select their seats before the general public and get
special perks like free tickets to the performance of Derrick and The
Motowners. Only subscribers receive invitations to special events
like the annual Reveal Dinner.
Another easy way to save on the price of admission is purchasing
group tickets. Some matinee performances are discounted as much
as 50%. The group organizer receives a free ticket to the show, too.
Friends, social club members, service organizations or businesses
can simply gather twelve or more individuals to form a group. When
you add a lunch at the historic Hotel Jacaranda, 18 East or The
Olympic Restaurant and a pre-show visit to the Museum of Florida
Art and Culture, it’s a fun afternoon outing.
Now let’s turn off our cell phones and enjoy the show!
Cheers to a new year!
