Day 1 & Day 2 – Depart the US & arrive in Munich
Rathaus (Town Hall); Glockenspiel; the Opera House
and the Hofbrauhaus.
Day 3 - Innsbruck, Austria
Medieval streets of Old Town; the Golden Roof; Maria
Theresa’s Imperial Palace; the Triumphal Arch; the
Hofkirche.
Day 4 - Oberammergau, and Passion Play
Visit to Oberammergau to experience the Passion Play.
You will have reserved seats, a guided tour of the town,
motorcoach transfers to and from the play’s theater,
and dinner is included today.
Day 5 - Augsburg, Dinkelsbuhl, Nuremberg
Travel to Augsburg; Continue to the Romantic road
and visit Dinkelsbuhl. Travel to Nuremberg and see the
medieval old city; Visit the Reichstag Museum.
Day 6 – Coburg and Erfurt
Visit Coburg known as the Veste. Journey to Erfurt
& visit St. Mary’s Cathedral and the Augustinian
Monastery.
Day 7 – Wittenberg
Explore Wittenberg; See the Palace Church door; Visit
the Schlosskirche & Luther Halle; Enjoy an English
Service held by the local Luther English Ministry team.
Day 8 – Eisleben and Eisenach
Travel to Eisleben. See St. Petri (St. Peter & St. Paul’s
Church) and the Luther Family Home. Pass by St.
Andrew’s & see the house where Luther was at the
time of his death; Visit Eisenach. Explore the Luther
House Museum & Wartburg Castle.
Day 9 – Worms and Mainz
Remember the Diet of Worms with a visit to the
city. Visit the Rhine River city of Mainz and see the
Guttenberg Press.

Day 5 – Tyrolean Village to Venice
Journey to Venice. Drive through the Brenner Pass and
see the Dolomites.
Day 6 - Venice visit and continue to Florence area
Travel by boat to Venice, visit the Piazza San Marco,
the Basilica of St. Mark, the Bell Tower, Clock Tower,
Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs.
Day 7 - Florence
Explore Florence; See the Piazza della Signoria with its
Neptune Fountain and Vecchio Palace, the Santa Maria
del Fiore Cathedral and the Academy.
Day 8 - Assisi
Journey to Assisi, once home to Saint Francis. Visit the
Basilica and the Hill of Paradise. Continue to Rome.
Day 9 - Rome, Catacombs, St. Paul Outside the Walls
Visit the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls and
the Catacombs of Callixtus. Climb the graceful Spanish
Steps and stop at the Trevi Fountain.
Day 10 - Christian Rome
Tour the Vatican’s Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
Visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the Pantheon.
Day 11 - Ancient Rome
Visit the Colosseum. See the Circus Maximus, Arch
of Titus, famous Baths of Caracalla and Arch of
Constantine as well as the Victor Emanuel Monument
and the Monti Region. Free afternoon.
Day 12 - Return to USA
