ERIC
CAMEHL
I’m originally from Michigan, but have
a great deal of love for Texas, as I lived
there for seven years when growing up.
I proudly served in the Army for four
years and worked for the
government for another six
years. My role serving the
country required numerous
combat deployments, and I
would do it all over again. I
knew I couldn’t maintain that
lifestyle, though, so I decided
to become an entrepreneur.
From that point on I was focused on
growing businesses, helping people
and learning anything business related.
WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO THE
TREASURE COAST?
Strictly for business.
I saw an opportunity to be part of
with a solid foundation. I didn’t know
anyone in the area, but I am always
willing to forgo my comfort zone in
order to grow. I was wella aware of the
has very close relationships but my gut
said if I can be allotted enough time to
interests at heart I would be OK.
WHY OR HOW IS YOUR OFFICE
DIFFERENT THAN OTHERS?
the extra mile in all matters, will
continue to work on this. We have been
for the last nine years in a row! This
amount more than the average agent,
which is a trickledown effect from being
highly professional. We are a full service
brokerage, handling commercial and
residential sales as well as property
management. We have a free buyer
concierge service which relieves the
stresses of shopping for utilities when
moving into your new home.
We are a proud member and supporter of the Port St.
Lucie Economic Development Council, which is highly
in saying our marketing strategy outshines that of
anyone in the area. We have a professional sales and
property management website, amazing informative
blogs, and technology and tools that enable us to
provide the best customer service. We even hired
professional voices for on-hold messaging to educate
callers about our services. These improvements and
additions to the company have been made since I
became owner, and they are all in the best interests of
our clients. Everything is about and for the client.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?
I love when I hear success stories or amazing reviews
from clients. I feel there is a huge disconnect from the
role of the real estate agent to the consumer. I want to
change that disconnect, even if it’s one client at a time.
The real estate industry has a bad reputation, falling just
behind car salesmen. I am on a mission to change this
negative view, again, even if it’s one client at a time. I
love helping people and having a positive effect on their
lives. I love knowing that I was able to provide advice
that helped an agent grow, earn more, or go the extra
mile for their client. I love knowing that I added value.
PLEASE GIVE A SHORT STORY ABOUT HOW
YOUR BUSINESS HAS HELPED PEOPLE.
We help people on a daily basis, whether it’s helping
an investor add an income generating property to their
portfolio or a young family buy a home they never
thought they could afford. We’ve had homes under
contract in hours, and we’ve helped clients save tens
of thousands of dollars on a purchase. We help people
relocate across the country for job transfers while
managing their home here in the Treasure Coast. We
even have a buyers concierge service that price shops
utilities and sets everything up for free! The bottom line
anything a client needs assistance with.
WHAT IS YOUR PHILOSOPHY ON BUSINESS
AND LIFE?
I am a huge believer in the law of attraction and the
power of your subconscious mind. Anyone can achieve
anything they want in life: You just have to believe
in your mind that you can, and put forth the effort.
Another belief I incorporate into all aspects of business
is going the extra mile for the client. If a person goes
above and beyond in any situation – whether it’s a job,
charity event or real estate transaction – they will be
rewarded. The reward should not be the driving force
behind going the extra mile. You want to provide more
service than you are being paid for, monetarily or not,
and you will be compensated in one way or another in
the future.
Another driving force in my outlook on life is growth.
I feel you should always be growing, whether it’s
mentally, physically, monetarily, spiritually or through
targeted education. The point is growth, always and
forever. Being content just doesn’t make sense to me
– being grateful, yes, but not content. Think about it:
Are you happier heading to vacation or coming back?
Are you happier heading to the closing table or leaving
the closing table? Most people will say they are happier
heading to, so why not set goals on achieving more? It’s
perfectly acceptable to want more. The more you have,
the more you can give. I am open to discussing goals
with anyone. I love hearing about goals, and I hope you
have yours written down!
