Farragut High School Named A Tennessee STEM School

Schwinn announced
that Farragut High
School has received the
Tennessee STEM School
Designation. “Governor Lee set a bold vision
to triple the amount of STEM designated
schools in the state of Tennessee during his
first term, and with this announcement we
are well on our way to meeting that goal,”
Schwinn said, adding “Careers in STEM
fields, particularly information technology,
engineering and advanced manufacturing,
and healthcare are among the fastest
growing in Tennessee and we owe it to our
students to prepare them for the jobs of
the future.”
STEM schools specialize in offering a
curriculum to boost students’ education in
fields such as science, engineering, math and
computing. Farragut High School is one of
26 STEM Schools in the State of Tennessee.

Report, Farragut High School is ranked
15th in the State of Tennessee out of 383
High Schools. Congratulations to the
2019 graduating class with $31 million in
scholarship money awarded to 97% of the
graduating class.
