Sweet! Sweet! Jamaica!
General Information
the lesson she took the class on a walk through of the school community to identify and
describe physical features near to the school. She asked the students to take notes and
pictures because they will be compiling a booklet with many Jamaican landforms and
other physical features. Students will also be sending emails to e-pals about the features
The pictures and notes are what you took and wrote in your notebook. You will use them
as sources to answer questions and write your email.

There are many mountains and hills surrounding my school. Mountains and hills are
major landforms, because apart from being beautiful, they help with the production of
rainfall, protect the island during hurricanes, are homes to thousands of rare plants and
animals and attract eco-tourists.
