Repair, Restore
and Enhance
Your Smile
Aging is something to be celebrated!
The saying, “you are as
young as you feel” is definitely
true when you think about your smile.
Aging gracefully can mean repairing or
restoring the parts of your body that have
worn down after many years. We maintain
many things — our homes, our cars
and our bodies. Why not our smiles?
Benefits of cosmetic and restorative
dental procedures include enhanced
function of chewing, self-esteem and
body self-image. Studies have shown that
patients enjoy genuine improvements
in body image, overall health and have
shown greater satisfaction with one’s position
in life.

A Window to the Rest
of Your Body
A person’s mouth is an important
line of defense against a number of ailments.
Not only can bacteria in the
mouth cause infection that leads to periodontitis,
but it can also cause problems
in the rest of the body, including diabetes,
heart disease and gastrointestinal illnesses,
if left untreated. Additional issues
arise when teeth that have broken down
prevent individuals from eating a healthy
diet because they’re unable to chew.
“Dentistry isn’t just about keeping
your smile beautiful,” Dr. Cuong T.
Phan of Phan-tastic Smiles says. “It’s also
about the overall health. The link between
your mouth and the rest of your
body is one that shouldn’t be ignored as
we age.”
In fact, a May 2019 article published
in the Journal of the American
Heart Association by a group of Finnish
researchers revealed that 84% of patients
in a test group who were treated
for ischemic stroke had blood clots that
contained bacterial DNA. Among those,
59% had a strain of streptococci that is
common in the mouth and causes infection
when it enters the bloodstream.
While more research is being done,
it’s a start in showing the benefits of regular
dental visits.
Boost Your Confidence
A good first impression lays the
foundation for positive, long-lasting
relationships, and your smile is just as
important as a firm handshake or a professional
outfit choice in the exchange.
When you can smile confidently, that
poise and self-assurance will ultimately
impress the person you’re meeting.
While missing teeth and receding
gums can occur over time, Dr. Phan offers
many cosmetic and restorative dental
procedures in-house and in one visit, saving
patients valuable time. The desired
results will not only boost your confidence
but change your outlook on life.
“There’s no reason for patients to
feel ashamed about the condition of
their teeth. Nature is going to take its
course,” Dr. Phan says. “I believe your
health is an investment and everyone
deserves to be healthy and happy. My
team and I are here to help you restore
your beautiful smile.”
Dr. Phan and his friendly team will
help you stay on track with your oral
health and keep your teeth looking as
young as you feel.
