When you walk into Enchanted Triple Moon
in Zephyrhills, you instantly feel good vibes
in this unique metaphysical store.
“I see that a lot because we are told, or
at least society tells you, ‘This is what you’re
supposed to do. You are supposed to be a
mom. You raise your kids or you do this’. Nobody
tells you about after the fact. Nobody
says, ‘this is what you do next.’ Nobody tells
you the loss you feel when they are leaving
the house. I think for me, like with my grandmothers,
they were always keeping a brave
face. They were always ‘doing.’ So, they just
kind of picked up and moved along so you
didn’t know that they were having their own
little struggles. I think that happens to a lot of
us. We just don’t have any idea.”
Needless to say, Annette is very sensitive
to the shifts in the cycles of people’s lives. She
said, “I had my own epiphany the other day.
A lot of my friends are turning 50. I turned 50
in January, and the conversations seem to be
the same with everybody, where they’re like
‘oh my gosh, I’m turning 50, I don’t know how
much longer I’ll be around...what do you
do…’ and just all of this stuff and I thought
to myself, you know it’s very strange. If I say
that this is my half...this is where I am at halfway.
I look back and I think, ‘this is what I did
in 50 years!’ In 50 years I have raised children,
I’ve accomplished all these different things,
I’ve been to college, I’ve done all of this stuff.
me and had more input. Then, I was in my
20s and you don’t have a lot of information.
There’s a lot of things you don’t know. So,
by the time we hit 50 or 40 or whatever, you
should be able to look at it and say, well, if
I’ve accomplished this much in 50 years, just
think of what I can do in the next 50 years...
because, I don’t have other people telling me
what I can and can’t do. I’m not a 20 year
old that’s not aware of things. I, now know
things. So, Instead of looking at it like, ‘oh my
gosh, I’m 50 and it’s all downhill from now, it
now, what can I do in the second 50!”
This place draws you in, with all of its beautiful
stones, handmade jewelry, intention
candles and incense, but it’s the feeling of
peace and tranquility that makes you want
to stay.
Although Enchanted Triple Moon is Annette’s
“baby,” Cami is her right hand. They
pour themselves into the store and welcome
everyone, wherever they are on their path.
Annette said that it is so much more than
just a store. Sometimes people need to just
breathe, she said and she welcomes them all.
their way and getting them to understand
that it’s okay for you to just be you.”
I received a tarot reading from Laura
a few days later. I didn’t tell her anything
about what was going on in my life. I actually
didn’t even ask for the reading, but
she gently pulled me into the tarot room,
which is a dimly lit, twinkly, cozy space.
She lit some sage and made me comfortable
had this done by someone who knew what
they were doing, and I could certainly tell
the difference. She laid out cards that told
me everything that I had been through in
the proceeding days. I won’t go into the details
of what she said, but it wasn’t hokie or
strange. It was informative and, dare I say
validating? It granted me some clarity that
I wasn’t expecting. It was an experience that
I recommend! Although my reading was
spontaneous, you can book one online, with
a variety of options to choose from. Laura
was fun and knowledgeable and I can’t wait
to book a longer session with her.
