Tasty Venues Italian Bistro & Gourmet Food Shop
offers a seasonally inspired menu. In addition, Chef
Cinzia often prepares special dishes and bakes
fresh desserts that are not on the menu, as she says,
“whatever strikes my fancy.” These and news of the

Tuesday & Thursday through Saturday from 11
a.m. to 3 p.m., British Tea on Saturday from 11 a.m. to
3 p.m., and Italian Family-Style Sunday Dinner 11 a.m.

hours are Thursday-Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday
11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, and Tuesday 11 am to 7 p.m.
Shop and Bistro are closed Wednesdays.

Venues Italian Bistro & Gourmet Food Shop strives to delight its guests
with an inspiring, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. Owner and Executive
Chef Cinzia Cripe offers superb Italian and Mediterranean dining,
which she describes as “a food exploration through ingredients
Cinzia, along with her business partners Susan Hastings and Debora
Felton, present a unique concept that includes cooking classes and other
culinary events, exceptional quality imported Italian and European
foods, boutique Italian wines, local artisanal foods, private events inhouse
as well as catering services, and Tasty Suitcase culinary tours of
Italy. Led personally by Chef Cinzia, Tasty Suitcase tours are designed
to offer an extraordinary culinary adventure exploring the culture and
rich food heritage of her homeland.
Tasty Venues’ concept began with Chef Cinzia’s upbringing in Sorrento,
Italy. She recalls that her parents had aspirations that she would
grow up to be “someone important.” To live up to their vision, she
studied architecture for six years until she earned her PhD. Having accomplished
this to please her parents, she returned to school for an ad-
desire to become a chef. Through her many travel opportunities, Chef
Cinzia became exposed to the best of the culinary world and developed
a love of sharing the world through food.
It must have been fate that brought the three Tasty Venues business
partners together as they discovered many shared interests. “We
