CANCELLATIONS must be received in WRITING - via mail,
email, or fax (843) 237-4535. Refunds are given when the property is
re-rented for the same dates as your original reservation. Any difference
in total cost will be deducted from your account and the balance will be
returned to you less a 10% handling fee of the original reservation total.
TRANSFERS & CHANGES may be considered for the same
property and rate as the original reservation. Requests are required
at least 90 days prior to the original arrival and will have to be
approved in writing by The Dieter Co. Deposits and payments cannot be
transferred to other properties unless the original property is re-rented.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY is total number of guests allowed
on premises; the only exception is for babies in cribs.
NO HOUSE PARTIES!We only rent to responsible groups of
adults over the age of 25. If a house party is detected, we reserve
the right to refuse occupancy or immediately discontinue the rental
with no refund.
DOG FRIENDLY RENTALS are indicated by
a dog icon. You may bring up to 2 dogs by paying
additional pet rent as listed on our website. Guests are
responsible for any damage and additional cleaning expenses relating
to pets. Pets are not allowed by renters in any condos throughout our
area. If pets are detected without notice or in any non pet-friendly
homes The Dieter Company reserves the right to terminate rental and
collect additional fees.
SWIMMING POOLS are available for all condos
and many houses. Private homes with pool access are
indicated by the icon in this guide. Hours and rules are at
the discretion of the associations or owner and are subject to change.
No refunds are given for pool closings. If you have a child in swim
diapers check individual rules. Some private pools may be heated as
indicated in the property description. Please note that pool heat pumps
will not work when the air temperature is below 50 degrees. Pools are
only available to guests staying in that property.
ELEVATORS are provided in most multi-level condo projects and
some private homes. Private homes that allow use may require an
additional deposit and liability waiver.
FIREWORKS are not allowed at any of our properties.
GRILLS are included with many of our rental properties as indicated
in the property description. Grills are not allowed on or directly below
any porches or balconies. Some condos have designated grilling areas.
Please clean grill after every use and prior to check-out.
GOLF CARTS are not provided, but may be allowed, at most
houses and some condos. For renters they are not allowed in Inlet
Point Condominiums, Litchfi eld Retreat or any high rise condominium at
Litchfi eld by the Sea.
BOATS, MOTORCYCLES, & RVS are allowed in a few
homes by special request only. Please call offi ce for details regarding
size and location.
NO SMOKING is strictly enforced. If your rental does allow
smoking it will not be listed as No Smoking in the property description.
INTERNET ACCESS (WIFI) is provided for all properties.
Passwords will be provided at check-in if needed.
PHONES with local access are available in many properties. If no
landline is available it will be listed on your rental agreement.
MAIL can be received through our offi ce. Make sure the sender lists
your name and rental unit. Messages will be delivered only in case of
emergency.
LOST & FOUND: Please contact our office within 7 days of
departure regarding any belongings left behind. We will try to help
with locating your lost items. Anything not claimed within 10 days
will be donated to local charities.
CONSTRUCTION projects are part of growth and change
along the coast. If your rental is near a project we will speak with the
contractors to help keep your vacation enjoyable. However, this is
beyond our control, and no refund will be given.
CUSTOMER SERVICE has been the foundation of our success
for 3 generations. If you have suggestions for improvement please let us
know. Comment Cards are provided at check-in. Please return for us to
read and pass along to the property owners.
BEACH GEAR INCLUDED
Properties with this icon include $250 worth of beach
gear for your week at the beach. After completing your
reservation you will receive an email from VayKgear
with complete details. Items include beach chairs, buggie boards,
bicycles and kayaks. All items will be waiting for you at your rental
