The Visitor Center is a must see
facility! Located close to Green
River Dam, the Visitor’s Center is a
free attraction open to the public
offering an amazing view of Green
River Lake and the Dam, unique
exhibits and educational materials.
Visitors can also have a picnic, enjoy
a short scenic hike and tour the

during the Civil War.

Hiestand House/Taylor County
Museum is an 1813 German stone
house containing Taylor County
history and antiques. It is
surrounded by beautiful gardens,
servant quarters and a spring

GREEN RIVER LAKE STATE PARK

Admission: Charged only if you camp.

Green River Lake State Park. The park
sits right along the shoreline of Green
River Lake offering an amazing scenic
view and a variety of recreational
opportunities including camping,

biking, horseback riding trails,
volleyball and more! There’s also a sandy beach, plenty of picnic areas
and grills, two playgrounds, two boat ramps and a bird watching area.
