is the praise and worship team leader, and
daughter Christina Floyd handles POG’s
social media and children’s ministry.
“All of my children are actively,
passionately involved in ministry. That’s
one of the keys to our success,” Ricky
Floyd said. “Before I tried to persuade the
world that I was a man of God, I took the
time to persuade my family that I was a
man of God. That’s why they serve.”
POG is committed to being a ministry
that helps with real-world solutions.
Pursuit of God’s kickoff week included a
job fair, a Wednesday night “Momentum
Leadership” seminar and more.
Coordinating the slate of events was a
logistical battle on Signal Street, but
Sheila Floyd said the new complex
gave them room to stretch out.
In previous years, a team would

sanctuary back together for service or
other programs. Not this year.
