I am writing you this letter to let you
know that I have been transferred to a
new facility. This is good news as I am
closer to home and can have family visits
more often. God has truly answered my
prayers by bringing me to this place
where I can get a fresh start and have
a new beginning. Please send me a
black Rosary and the new book, My
Daily Bread. Send my Decade, too, as
lots of my property were lost in the
move. < Jamal - GA >
I want to start the day writing this note
to thank you, Patti, for being a blessing
beyond words in my life. My soul will
never forget the joy and gifts you have
given me. Please, can you find a priest
to communicate directly with me. Time
is not forever and I have a story to tell,
and a confession to make. I do not
wish to go to my grave with these sins
on my heart.

(Nov. 2019: He has a history of
years of brutal treatment at home
at the hands of his family. He
writes again on Jan. 28, 2020.)
I have been taken to court on three
counts of attempted murder. Now, I am
fighting to prove I defended myself.
The last time an officer beat me while
I was handcuffed and shackled with
waist chains. He broke my nose, lower
optical bone and gave me black eyes. I
was defenseless to protect myself. They
stripped me and hid me in a cell until
I started to heal. I was lucky. Most
inmates end up worse or dead. Go
online and see how many inmates
have been killed by prison officials and
how many beaten up. This incident
began when I went to have supper and
was told I could not have the food
without my ID card. So, I left and got
my ID card, but still they refused to
allow me to have the food. I told him I
had a right to eat and that is when the
officer tried to use force on me to take
me to isolation, so I defended myself.
The court offered me 30 years in prison
but I refused it. In the end, I may get
life. But, in Christ, I know I will always
be free. This is a sad story. I know the
devil wants me to give up faith in God,
but I pray my Rosary every night and,
if I have to, I would rather take life and
die in prison than please the devil and
get out today. I am at peace. Whether
we do good or evil, we will answer to
God. My next court date is on 9th March.
Please pray for me. < FLORIDA >
I have not heard from you in a while. I
hope you can send us the 2020 Calendar.
I save your calendars because they have
so much wisdom in them. Do you know
of any priest who would be willing
to travel to the Walla Walla State
Penitentiary Work Camp to hear our
confessions and offer the Holy Mass
for us, Catholic inmates? Please help
us if you can. We have no way to
receive the Sacraments. May Jesus
bless you with His Grace and Love!
