In the world of garden clubs in the U.S., members have seen all local, state
and national meetings canceled, and now some events are going virtual.

This virtual event is titled “The Perfect Vision Flower Show.” In the area
of horticulture, specimens will be photographed in prescribed ways and
submitted by mid-June for judging. In the area of design, entries featuring
an underwater element or transparency will be created, photographed and
submitted. A third area for botanical arts and artistic crafts will feature a section
wherein members can decorate an outdoor seat.
Hopefully, this will bring some normalcy to local garden club members
who have developed their skills in the areas needed for submission. They
bring much beauty into the world, and as we enter the summer months, it is
