This 1991 Mazda Miata MX-5 Special Edition
is number 1,389 of 4,000 produced and is a
8,096 actual mile example from new. It was
purchased from Morries Mazda on April 23,
1991 by Susan M Cargill who was the director of
Cargill Incorporated which is the largest privately
owned corporation in the United States. After
her passing on April, 22 2010 the car was left to
her son Patrick Harker who later sold the car on
August 29, 2019. Power is from its original 1.6 Litre
inline four cylinder engine mated to a five-speed
manual transmission and limited slip differential.
The car retains 100% of its original “Special
Edition” exclusive British Racing Green paint,
body-colored removable hardtop, tan leather
interior and black vinyl convertible top. A major
service has just been completed including timing
belt, water pump, plugs, plug wires, complete
fluid service and new tires. Other options
include power steering, power ABS brakes, air
conditioning, cruise control and AM/FM CD stereo. Accompanying this pristine example is the original Nardi shift knob, tan vinyl
