This month we appointed a committee to conduct
a SWOT analysis of NCRGEA to be completed
before year’s end. SWOT stands for strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and threats. We will
analyze these with a ten-year horizon. The purpose
of this analysis is to better anticipate the future
in which we will operate so that NCRGEA can
be even stronger and more valuable to our mem-

our direction into the future. We will keep you
informed as our work progresses, and if we reach
out to you for help on this project, please say “yes”.

As I write this letter in October, all of us remain
concerned that a second wave of Covid-19 may
sweep across our state during the winter. While
this pandemic has already taxed our patience, this
is not the time to slack off on social distancing, frequent
hand washing, and wearing masks in public
places. These practices are still absolutely necessary
for all of us to survive and not be contagious
to others. Happy holidays to each of you! We look
forward to serving you in 2021!
