PdT Lake 2021
None of us are likely to forget 2020 and all the challenges
that came with it. Closure of all areas in the early
stages to fully open for Memorial Day and the
tremendous amount of usage that the Recreation Areas
received throughout the course of the summer. The U.S.
expects this to be another busy year for the lake area as
always please be safe and respectful of the facilities and
other users.
Even with all the challenges that 2020 presented us with
has been able to make several improvements to the
we have been able to recently accomplish.

upgraded last

are not inundated by high lake levels as easily as some
of the lower elevation campsites. The upgrades will better
accommodate current camping trends and preferences.
These campsites were quickly put into use by campers
toward the end of the recreation season in 2020.
Playgrounds
2020 saw the
replacement of three
older playgrounds
and the re-surfacing
on one playground.
The playgrounds at
Campground were completely removed and new play

while providing a soft surface for play. The playground at
the Administration Day Use Area already had newer type
