the Brown Scapular if you have it. We
are trying to learn how to pray the
Rosary and there is absolutely no
Catholic literature here in the dorm.
Please mail it to our chaplain. Thank you
and God bless you! < Maria – TX >
I want to offer my condolences for
the sick and the death that came upon
your family in Christ. I pray for the Souls
in Purgatory every day. The 31 days
devotional book of St. Joseph, I started
today and can’t wait to get the Saint
Raphael booklet. Please send me this
year’s Calendar. M y y friend loved the
book that you sent
h er. I love mine too. Peace be with you!

I am lost and looking for God. Can
you help me? I got your address off a
pamphlet that my cellmate gave me.
I was studying to be a Muslim but bad
things would happen to me or around
me. I have never had any religion to
speak of. For the last 3 years, I have
been looking for answers and can’t
find them in any place. Then, my cellmate
told me that he is Catholic and it
helped him. I am so hoping for the
same thing. Please send me a Rosary
and anything you think would help
me find God. < Bob - GA >
I am an inmate at SCI-Forest Prison.
I have been saying my Decade with
the other brothers and sisters in the
faith for almost 30 years. The daily
Decade has saved my life. The Rosary
is a prayer that my mother insisted on
and made me promise to say, and it
has turned out to be the best present that
anyone could have possibly given to me.
Since I came to prison in Nov. 2018, I
have been through a lot of pain, grief
and hardship. And I realize now, the
suffering I have caused other people.
I have gained great knowledge and
have opened my soul entirely to Jesus
Christ through Our Blessed Mother.
They say that God works in mysterious
ways and I can’t even begin to explain
what that statement means to me. I
feel God has pulled me out of my past
life and put me here to save my soul.
How miraculous these prayers are now
and I appreciate them more than you
could possibly know! Thanks so much
for keeping in touch with my grandparents.
I would love to start sharing
more of myself with them. They have
been such an inspiration to me!

I have 41 guys waiting to hear the
person’s name you mentioned who
passed away at Christmas time, so they
can pray for him. Patti, you are the
only family we have and we want so
much to help this person raise up to
Heaven. This camp is a Southern Baptist
camp and, if you send the chaplain a
box of books, he will not give them to us.
He does not like Catholics. So sending
small packets to me works best and I
distribute them among the Catholics.
Tomorrow, we have Mass for the first
time in a year! A deacon will come. We
will have a Rosary before Mass and, at
least, 60 men will be there. We want
you all to know that we are praying
hard for you. We love you with one
heart and soul. We have one book of
St. Joseph but no chaplets yet. The
wonderful St. Benedict Crucifix that you
sent for our chapel disappeared. Forgive
us for asking so much, but we have
absolutely no one else that helps us
whatsoever. You have been helping us
for 5 years at this Camp and over 200
men have been changed and brought
to Christ in the
Catholic Church.
We thank you
for the love you
have shown for
us.
