Lory Burgos
Senior Consultant, Diverse Marketing, Nationwide
Lory has been part of the Nationwide family since 1997, where
she has held a variety of leadership roles both in operations and
marketing. In her current role, she designs and executes go-to-market
strategies to engage and support diverse communities across
the U.S. focused on economic empowerment, housing and education.
Lory’s experience includes underwriting, project management,
strategic development, and consumer experience.
Lory is passionate about helping build stronger communities and
served in the Mount Carmel College of Nursing board as well as the advisory board of Latinx
Space for Enrichment and Research (LASER) an organization that aims to increase the number
of young Latinx enrolling in college. Lory also served as the President of the National Latino
Alliance Employee Resource Group at Nationwide for 3 years. During her tenure as president,
the ERG more than doubled its membership base and expanded its footprint to include 3
additional regional chapters.
Lory holds a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation and a bachelor’s degree in
Chemistry from the University of Florida. Her most relish role in life is being the mother of three
wonderful children – Esteban, Bianca and Hannah.
