Chris Clamp ’91 and wife, Jennifer, own and operate Cement Tile Shop, a leading online retailer of handmade cement tiles. Cement Tile Shop recently opened its fi rst brick-and-mortar retail location in the Seminole Heights neighborhood in Tampa. Parker Reid ’09 graduated from George Washington Law School in May and accepted a position as In-House Counsel with Fidelity National Title Group in Omaha, Neb. Evan Rubinson ’10 recently was named CEO and President of Armadillo Enterprises in Tampa. (continued on page 24) Mike Griffi n ’93 is the Director of SEC Network operations and production for the University of Florida. Griffi n previously was a producer at Sun Sports and Fox Sports Florida for nearly two decades. Brian Murphy ’96 is Project Manager for Brandes Design-Build, Inc., where he has worked since 2013. Brandes Design-Build, Inc. specializes in the building, expansion, renovation, and repair of water, waste, reclaimed, and reverse osmosis treatment plants and facilities. Murphy manages the construction and maintenance of such projects. A.J. Piplica ’05 recently has named CEO of Generation Orbit. Ryan Lockwood ’06 co-created Spared, a mobile app designed to help reduce student debt. Randy Ojeda ’08 and Jason Solanes ’08 recently launched Cigar City Radio, a new music podcast. 1990s 2000s 2010s Eric Blakenship ’92 is Vice President of Marketing for the Tampa Bay Lightning. He recently was profi led in the Tampa Bay Times regarding the establishment of the Tampa Bay Lightning store inside of the International Plaza in Tampa. Colton Peterson ’08 has joined the Tampa offi ce of Carlton Fields, a 400-attorney law fi rm, as a member of the Business Litigation section of the fi rm’s National Trial Practice Group. Shane Robinson ’03 was inducted into Florida State University’s Athletics Hall of Fame on September 9. Robinson’s sophomore season at FSU (2005) was one of the best in Seminole history, as he was the fi rst player to record 100 hits and steal 40 bases in the same season. He was named Collegiate Baseball’s National Player of the Year in 2005 and then was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 5th round. He reached the major leagues in 2009 with the Cardinals and played this past season with the Los Angeles Angels. Chris Griffi n ’98 recently moved to the Boston area to become the Research Director of Harvard Law School’s Access to Justice Lab. The lab promotes rigorous solutions to problems of court administration and legal representation using randomized control trials. Griffi n earned a B.S. in International Political Economy magna cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and spent three years as a Yale Law School postgraduate fellow and at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, focusing on empirical law & economics and the economics of higher education. In 2010, he graduated from the Yale Law School, where he was an Editor on the Yale Law Journal and Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Law & Policy Review. Griffi n then joined the Duke Law School faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor and taught at William & Mary Law School from 2012 to 2016. Joseph Gonzalez ’11 graduated from Fordham University in 2015 and was accepted into Teach For America, which is a part of Americorps. TFA places teachers in the most impoverished schools in the nation. Gonzalez teaches 7th and 8th grade reading in the Rio Grande Valley at Falfurrias Junior High near the Mexico border.
