Continuing, Cardarius cited a series
of short, concise slogans he created to
convey his message: “Let your limits be
beyond the sky. Don’t settle for what
you see. Create your own path. Be what
you want to be if you desire to pursue
your dreams. Don’t let anyone tell youyou
can’t because you can. All things are
possible.”
Cardarius has spoken before groups
in and around his old hometown,
giving inspirational talks at Southwest
Community College, to students of one
of his former high school teachers at
South Pike and to members of church
congregations in Magnolia. “Some of
those who heard me came up to me
afterward and said they were inspired by
what they heard,” he said.
When asked, “Is there something you’re
doing that makes you stand out from
others in the field; a different approach
or a different attitude than those of other
motivational presenters?” his answer is,
“My ability to convey my compassion for
humanity through the everyday pitfalls,
as well as the triumphs.”
Discussing his five published books,
Cardarius explained that his first one,
Divine Expressions is a book of original
poems and the second one, Step
Forward, “is about how to tap into your
innermost being to find your purpose and
how to activate your gift.”
Another of his books, titled The
Warfare, he said, “talks about the battle
of the mind. How to pull positives out
of negative situations and negative
thoughts. How to control your thoughts
that can cause you to do something you’ll
regret later on down the line.” He also
authored 17 Days of Successful Living,
a spiral-bound workbook whose title is
self-explanatory.
His fifth book, Faith Walkers, he said,
“gives examples of people who walked by
faith when they had an idea of something
they wanted to pursue. They didn’t see
it physically. They just saw it spiritually.
They saw it before they actually saw
it. So they pursued it until it actually
became a reality.” Are these examples
based on actual case studies, he is asked.
“Yes. Some are people I know and some
are from the Bible. I try to tie everything
in together,” he answers.
Cardarius is especially proud of his inlaws.
His wife, Arianne, is the daughter
of renowned artist and musician Paul
Boudreaux and civic leader/author
Phyllis Boudreaux, founder of Touching
Lives Ministry and FaithPhyll Ministries
and host of a Cable Talk Show entitled
“Talk It Out with Phyllis.”
“They give me inspiration all the time,”
he said. “They’re good people and I could
write a lot about them.”
Summing up, Cardarius said, “My
ultimate goal is to start a program that
meets the total needs of those who are
in the need of personal development
and strategies for setting and achieving
goals. I strive to exemplify the power of
optimism in the midst of despair while
empowering others to make their dreams
become reality.”
