Things have certainly changed
since our last edition! With this
publication now in its 6th year, we
find ourselves challenged with a
pandemic.
Many of our non-profit
organizations inside this guide
provide for community needs.
Whether it be for seniors, animals,
children, homeless, etc. they are
dedicated to their mission. Most all
have found it difficult to do fund
raising events this year. Gatherings
are not allowed but needs are still
present and now even more so.
Our organization, the South
Shore Coalition for Mental Health
and Aging has been among those
affected financially. Because of
COVID, this year, our guide is late

in being published and smaller than
prior years due to reduced funding
and advertiser support, but we are
happy to provide it once again!
We are grateful to the many
volunteers this year who took hours
to call and confirm the information
contained is up to date. Our
community is blessed with some
very generous individuals who give
of their time.
Getting this guide to the publisher
was made possible this year by The
Community Foundation of Tampa
Bay. Their funding filled the gap that
we desperately needed to complete
the guide and we are extremely
grateful for their support.
The Foundation continues to
impact our community by funding
non-profit
organizations
to complete
their work of
providing for
community
needs. Be sure to read the article
about the Foundation inside.
Once again, we thank the Men’s
Club of Sun City Center for their
annual contribution which enables
10,000 copies of our guide to be
distributed within the community
of Sun City Center.
